When I was a young girl, I once ran up to man on the street and asked if he’d like to hear me read from my new Barbie book. I read him a page or two before my mom pulled me away, reminding me not to talk (let alone read) to strangers. But that day, this voice artist was born.
I’ve got a rich alto sound—I like to say it’s “where wisdom and warmth meet wit.” My voice is suited for projects that call for a sincere, confident delivery, a bit of ‘tude with a wink or a combination of both. I can also create any number of colorful characters, human and otherwise.
I’m an actor, too—I’ve trained in both New York and London and performed off-Broadway, on television and in film. I continue to take classes to keep my creativity and instincts sharp.
I’ve voiced commercials, eLearning, narration, audio dramas, audiobooks, podcasts, video games, promos and more. I’ve spoken about the liquidity of art for Bank of America/U.S. Trust…sang “coffee” (well, “caaawwwfffeeee!”) many times and very loudly for a popular Tide detergent radio campaign...and gave a voice to first FLOTUS Martha Washington in a clever TV commercial for Altice Optimum. To name just a few.
On the personal front, I’m happily married with two sons, one human, one canine. I live in Brooklyn, New York…but I always have one foot in the Berkshires in Massachusetts, where our family loves to hike, bike and breathe the fresh country air.
I look forward to bringing your words and vision to life.
Accents include British, Cockney, Southern, New York/Long Island, Russian.
Also able to create an assortment of character voices, all ages, for humans, animals and even those who are out-of-this-world!
