In his first film role, Martin English had his head bitten off by an alien (Timesweep). Luckily, he recovered and the experience didn’t sour him on pursuing a wide range of acting roles from film to industrials to theatre to television. Martin prides himself on his versatility, playing such diverse roles as: a hardened artillery gunner (Civil War Stories), a stroke victim (Beer for Breakfast), Hamlet (Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged]), a down-trodden deputy (The Rainmaker), an abused prison guard (America’s Most Wanted) and Lord Montague (Romeo & Juliet). Martin’s many years as a professional fight choreographer make him an asset for any production or play when the script calls for a slap, fisticuffs, or a swashbuckling sword fight. Martin is open, affable and loves to laugh. He is equally comfortable wielding a sword, improvising a scene or delivering a punchline.
