Lisa Benson is an Emmy-award winning journalist with more than 20 years of media/television news experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Arts at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. Lisa is a diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism consultant for Winning Truths International, LLC, a Kansas City based consulting firm. Lisa’s knowledge of racial hierarchies, diversity, inclusion and unconscious biases was enhanced through her study of Diversity and Inclusion at Cornell University. When she’s not working, hosting workshops or speaking, Lisa enjoys reading, writing and traveling with her husband and two sons.
