Elizabeth (Lizzie) Cure is a spirited, fun-loving girl who thrives when acting, singing, and dancing. She is known for taking direction well, being prepared, staying in character, and being dedicated to every role. On the rare occasion she is not taking classes or in a performance, you will find her hanging out with friends, playing with her dog, or annoying her sisters.
Elizabeth's first love and primary experience is on the stage where she has performed in 16 shows, including the title role in Matilda the Musical in both July 2022 (The White Theater, Guy Gardner) and October 2019 (CYT Kansas City, Jana Latchaw Milbourn), Agnes in Meet Me in St. Louis (Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park, Chris McCoy), the title role in Annie in November 2022 (First Act Theatre Arts, Gina Milbourn), JoJo in Seussical the Musical in February 2022 (First Act Theatre Arts, Allison Nissley-Murphy), and Gavroche in Les Miserables in May 2022 (First Act Theatre Arts, Jana Latchaw Milbourn). Other recent show credits include Legally Blonde, Jr, Junie B. Jones, A Christmas Story, Footloose Jr., and more. Elizabeth receives vocal coaching from Ashley Pankow of Ashley Pankow Studios, studies Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, and Modern dance at First Act Theatre Arts Dance Studio, and Acting instruction from Jana Latchaw Milbourn and Megan Case.
