BIOGRAPHY

Hi!  I was born and raised in Burbank, California, trained in ballet, tap, violin and voice before graduating from UCLA with a BA in Theater.  I won UCLA's highest acting award at that time, the Hugh O'Brien Award, in a televised competition.  I was brought to New York to tour with "Grease" which I also did on Broadway, then "Annie" before returning to LA for multiple national and regional commercials, and industrial films.  After starting a family, my husband and I moved to Traverse City, Michigan, where I became known for a series of 18 funny local commercials and voiceovers for building products, and worked out of Grand Rapids as well.  I learned to write screenplays, traveling to Lew Hunter's writing colony in Nebraska several times, and have eleven feature-length screenplays.

Our recent move to Kansas City put me back in a major market where I feel welcomed by advertisers large and small who are looking for an intelligent and capable senior, glam or down-to-earth, for humor, warmth, emotion, or enthusiasm--but nobody's yet asked me to dance!
