Kushi Beauchamp is an actor, playwright and teaching artist currently based in Kansas City, MO. After receiving her BA in Theatre from Lewis & Clark College, Kushi has performed locally and abroad, recently appearing at KC Rep as Belle in A Christmas Carol, and Tinkerbell in Peter Pan & Wendy. She will now only be accepting roles with the word “bell” in the name. Other recent credits include Big Love, Grounded, Fixing King John, The Motherf*cker with the Hat, and Thinner Than Water (UMKC)
Kushi has had opportunities to workshop her original scripts and performance art at multiple theatrical homes including Charlotte Street Scratch Night (right here in KC), at Risk/Reward’s Pavement Festival in Portland, OR, and as a two time resident of From The Ground Up’s playwriting program. She has been a director at Profile Theater’s 24hr play festival, a Mentee of Third Rail Repertory Theatre, and has trained extensively in Suzuki and Viewpoints with the Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble. Kushi loves to teach - she has led summer theater camps and taught ages 6 to undergrad!
